About Me

I’ve been working as a UX/UI designer for over 8 years now. 4 years on products exclusively. Products for aviation industry, fintech and healthcare. B2B SaaS for the most part. Complex scheduling system with usage of mathematical algorithms, business analytics software with AI integration available on the range of various form factors, tools for maternal and child healths support - that’s only few products I was working on and which are successfully operating and evolving to this day.

I have experience of supporting, adopting, updating and building design systems from zero. For me, consistency is a key when it comes to complex design systems which are tied to multiple products. With simple but effective framework/methodology divided on 3 steps (preparation/research, ideation and execution) I’ve been able to solve user’s problems and improve user experience overall.

When I’m not in the world of design, you can find me playing with my friends on the football field, or chilling with the cup of tea. Also, I’m a big movie fan. If there is new Tarantino movie come up, you almost certainly will see me in the middle row with a bag of popcorn.

Tools
Figma
My favourite bread & butter provider. Started from Photoshop+Illustrator in the old days, then moved to Sketch (Mac) as it was more sophisticated at that time. But when Figma came out: platform agnostic, web-based, constantly evolving with prototyping features and components, super easy handoff process - it was unbeatable. I’ve been early adopter of this tool and I’m still proud user when it became an industry standard.
Notion
Solid basis for design comes from research and data analysis. Main problems and problematic patterns, market research, interview recordings, user’s goals, ideas - all of this need to be properly collected and stored somewhere. Notion works great for me in that matter. Versatile and simple enough to cover my needs.
Svelte
Although, Figma’s prototyping tools are amazing, some interactions or experiences can’t be implemented with desired performance and quality. That’s when Svelte comes handy. It is javascript framework which gives endless possibilities for prototyping, like React but with a simpler syntax and constructions. Often used for proof of concept as it not requires extensive time investment.
AI
Brilliant at filling the gaps. AI is rapidly becoming an indispensable assistant for designer. It's a tool that can boost productivity and unlock new insights. Generate, multiply and refine data. It helps a lot with automating repetitive and time-consuming tasks.
